Former University of North Dakota and Bismarck High standout Weston Dressler has agreed to a 4-year contract extension with the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League.

Dressler, who tried out for the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs this past season before returning to the Roughriders, has spent his entire professional career in Saskatchewan.

Through 107 career games, Dressler has 469 receptions for 6,856 yards and 44 touchdowns for the Roughriders, according to Riderville.com.

Dressler entered the CFL in 2008, after a record-setting career at UND.
