Williston Breaking Ground on New Airport
After many years of planning, the city of Williston broke ground for a new airport for the area.
Thanks to the oil boom, the little town of Williston is now a busy, growing city and region.
The Williston Basin International Airport is a project at the cost $256 million and will have a 109,000 square foot print. The new facility will accommodate 350,000 passengers every year. And it'll be one of the newest airports in the nation with the latest technology for planes and passengers
The new airport will service the entire region and is expected to open in 2018.
