Thursday and Friday of this week, the National Weather Service in Bismarck is forecasting wind chills dropping to 50 degrees below zero. They are considered to be "dangerous to life-threatening."

The overnight low temperature predicted for Wednesday is 12 degrees below zero with brutal arctic winds making it feel like 30 degrees below zero.

Thursday night into Friday morning, the low temperature is forecasted at 26 degrees below zero. The forecast also includes a high temperature of just 3 degrees below zero.

As wind chill values fall to these levels, frostbite and hypothermia can occur in a matter of minutes. Please take the necessary precautions.
