Halloween has long been a favorite holiday for kids -- and no wonder ... They get to dress up in costumes and collect free candy.

It's possible that Halloween has become even more popular with kids than Christmas. Opening toys on Christmas morning is fun, but nothing hits the brain quite like a bag full of miniature chocolate bars.

With that in mind, some people just aren't in the spirit -- and end up giving trick-or-treaters stuff that's just not fun.
