Hey--if you know anything about me--I do LOVE cars---I ran across some pics of an amazing 1970 car that could have saved American Motors--we all remember the horrible AMC Pacer (remember that car in "Wayne's World?) and then the Gremlin and the Hornet.   Always very odd quirky cars.   AMC did have the Javelin and the AMX and back in the 1960's had some pretty cool cars.   But as the 70's arrived AMC made some horrible choices in the cars they made.   BUT--take a look at this car.....they only made 12 of these and due to people wanting smaller, more fuel efficient cars, this one never made it into production.   This is the rare AMC AMX/3 prototype....all I can say is wow--and this WAS an AMC car?  Strange enough yes!!   And it's currently on display at the 2013 Chicago Car Show.  So, if you're heading east to the "Windy City" you may want to check it out...this car ROCKS!!!
