We Won’t Know the ‘Avengers 4’ Title Until Loooong After ‘Infinity War’
Marvel guards their secrets closer than any other company (aside from, maybe, Lucasfilm), and they’re so good at it now that we won’t know anything they don’t want us to know until they want us to know it. Since we suspect that Some Stuff is about to go down in Avengers: Infinity War, that makes it all the more suspicious that we have no idea what the title of Avengers 4 is going to be. As Infinity War comes out in less than two weeks, are we going to find out soon?
Ha. No.
Yahoo! Movies asked the Russo brothers the question that pretty much everyone has asked the Russo brothers, and the Russo brothers gave them pretty much the same answer they’ve given everybody else. We’ll find out what Avengers 4 will be called when they’re good and ready to tell us. Which means a lot of waiting.
No, no. It’s going to be quite a long while before people see that title. We need people to see this movie, digest this movie, and then we can tell them what the next story is they’re going to see.
They could be trolling us, and the title could appear right at the end of the credits, where it normally says something like “X Character Will Return in X Movie.” Then again, they’ve said before that the title for the next movie is a pretty big spoiler for something that happens in this one, so I could see why they’d want to wait as long as possible for people to see this one before revealing that the title of the next one is something like Avengers: Isn‘t It Crazy That Hawkeye Was Thanos All Along.
Avengers: Infinity War opens April 26.
