Best Chili in Bismarck? Enter it in the 2013 Super Chili Bowl!

Think you make great chili? Can you convince the rest of Bismarck that yours is the best in town? If this sounds like you, enter the 8th annual Super Chili Bowl on Friday, January 25th from 6-9pm at the Ramada Bismarck Hotel (formerly the Doublewood Inn). Not only will the individual winner receive a brand new Sony television, they'll also hold bragging rights over other Bismarck residents!

While participants previously had to prepare their chili in a licensed kitchen, that is no longer the case. However, they must still comply with the Super Chili Bowl Cook-Off Guidelines. All chili must be prepared from scratch (no pre-made, commercial chili will be accepted). Entrees will be judged in the following categories:

• Aroma
• Consistency
• Color
• Texture
• Flavor

Those entering must bring a copy of the recipe and be prepared to post a list of all ingredients used. Winner will be announced at 8:30 that night.
