Free kids life jackets at the Missouri River Splash!
Thursday May 16th, North Dakota Game and Fish Department and Townsquare Media are hosting the 12th Annual Missouri River Splash at Moritz Sport and Marine. This free event is created to promote safety for everyone that enjoys our area rivers and lakes.
Did you know that youth ages 12-15 need to be certified in order to operate a boat or personal watercraft? During the Splash, get more information from Game and Fish on the Boat North Dakota course. Make sure your kids are certified for the summer. Adults, you can take the course and your insurance company may offer a discount on your premium.
We'll be giving out free kid's life jackets while supplies last. There's games and prizes. Enjoy snacks served by the Boy Scouts. Create a unique t-shirt with fish painting. We may even have the little boats out in the bay. It's an afternoon of hands-on activities, demonstrations, and dare we say- an enjoyable way to learn about rules and regulations.
Safety comes first- but fun is certainly going to tag along during the 12th Annual Missouri River Splash Thursday May 16 from 2PM to 5PM at Moritz Sport and Marine.
