Exploring Williston’s Future: An Immersive Journey Into Leadership and Community

Leadership Williston is an eight-month, immersive program designed to introduce both emerging and established leaders to the key issues, industries, and opportunities that shape the region. Rather than learning from a textbook or lecture alone, participants dive into the community itself—using Williston as a living classroom. Each session offers hands-on learning, meaningful discussions, and valuable face-to-face engagement with local leaders and organizations.

Every month, the program focuses on a different sector or topic, giving participants a wide-angle view of the area’s most influential forces. These include education, city and county government, the oil and gas industry, and the agricultural sector, among others. By understanding how each of these areas functions—and how they intertwine—participants gain a deeper appreciation for the challenges and opportunities that Williston faces.
