Williston’s Main Street Set to Sparkle with Light Up Parade and New Watch Party Fun

On Friday, November 28th, Main Street will transform into a glowing, glittering, good-old-fashioned holiday spectacle as the annual Light Up Parade rolls into town. And this year, organizers have added something extra festive to make your evening even brighter: Watch Party Locations!

Yes, that’s right—no more trying to stake out a spot in the cold for an hour while your hot cocoa freezes into a popsicle. Now you can enjoy the parade from several cozy (and delicious) locations, each offering treats, goodies, or warm-you-up refreshments for purchase. With 29 entries cruising down the traditional route, you’ll have plenty to watch, photograph, and “awww” at as holiday cheer takes over Downtown Williston.

Here are this year’s prime viewing spots:

• 3 Amigos Southwest Grill – 1007 Main St, Unit A
  Grab something spicy to keep you warm while the floats go by.

• Deja Brew – 1006 Main St
  Because nothing pairs with twinkling lights quite like a cup of something warm and caffeinated.

• First Lutheran Church – 916 Main St
  A family-friendly spot perfect for taking in the lights together.

• James Memorial Art Center (Virtual Viewing) – 621 1st Avenue W
  Want the magic without the frostbite? This one’s for you.

• NCC – 421 Main St
  Expect friendly faces, plenty of room, and holiday cheer.

• Renaissance on Main – 125 Main St
  A comfortable, festive perch right along the route.

The parade begins at 5:30 p.m., but arriving early is highly encouraged. Not only will you snag a great view, but you’ll also help kick off the holiday season with neighbors, friends, and just the right amount of small-town Christmas magic.
