
Student Rodeo Athletes Compete This Weekend in Williston, ND
Get Ready for the 44th Annual Williston High School Rodeo
Experience the thrills of the 44th Annual Williston High School Rodeo on Friday, May 9th, and Saturday, May 10th, at the Upper Missouri Fair Grounds in Williston.
Support Local and Regional Talent
Come out and show support for our local talents, as well as contestants traveling from all corners of North Dakota, Northern South Dakota, and Eastern Montana.
This weekend, 150 student athletes in the High School Rodeo Association will compete, with 370 entries in the events including the light rifle and trap shooters.
Williston will be represented by 13 Rodeo Club members; 9 in High School and 4 in Junior High Rodeo.
Shooting Events Begin Friday Morning
The Trap and Rifle Shoot begins on Friday, May 9th at 10:00am, at Painted Woods Sporting Range.
Friday Rodeo Events
Rodeo action kicks off on Friday, May 9th, at 5:00 PM with the Boys and Girls Cow Cutting at the Upper Missouri Valley Fairgrounds.

Vendors:
Food Vendors will be open Friday afternoon/evening and all-day Saturday, so you don't even have to cook. Breakfast will be served Saturday morning at 7:00.

Admission Information
Admission is $10 for Adults, $5 for ages 6-18, and under 5 are free. You will get a wristband that is good for both days' events. So don't take it off! Admission tickets can be purchased at the rodeo arena the day of the event.

The Williston High School Rodeo Club is looking forward to seeing everyone at the rodeo. Watching these student athletes work with their horses is something special, there’s nothing like the connection between rider and horse in the arena.
