Bismarck: 4 Things You Need To Try On Your Next Trip To Arizona
When it gets cold outside in North Dakota, we start daydreaming about places with a little sunshine.
To get out of the cold and have a little fun adventure, I thought it would be fun to hop on one of those direct Allegiant flights from Bismarck and go to the warm state of Arizona.
Since this was my first time in the state, I decided to get out there and try to do all the fun things I could. Now that I'm back, I thought it would be helpful to share with you some fun things to do if you ever take a trip.
1. Wonderspaces
This was the top thing on my list. Similar to Meow Wolf, it's an immersive art experience. I feel like this is one of those things you just have to see. Here are some pictures.
This fun experience is located inside of the Scottsdale Fashion Square.
2. Desert Botanical Garden
If you want to take a little walk and connect with nature, this is a great spot for you and your family. You can go during the day, or do what I did and go when they do night tours. Here are a few pictures from Las Noches de las Luminarias.
3. Phoenix Zoo
Of course, you have to visit the zoo, if you're in the Phoenix-Scottsdale area. I'll be honest, I am a little out of shape, so walking the whole zoo trail was a bit much. Prepare yourself with some stretches, water and good walking shoes.
4. Papago Park
If you don't want to drive hours away from the Scottsdale area, you can always visit the Papago Park. It's not a far drive, and is one of the easier, more family friendly hikes in the area. You might find that places like Camelback Mountain are a little more challenging.
Those are some of the most fun experiences I had on my trip, so if you're planning one soon, hopefully this will help you with your itinerary.
