Dashing Through the North Dakota Snow

You better not pout, and you better not cry, because once again, this year, the CP Holiday Train is coming our way. This will be the 28th year of spreading cheer along the tracks of North America, while collecting food and raising money for those in need.

This year's CP Holiday Train will run later this year from Friday, December 18 to Saturday, December 19. Much later this year, as last year's holiday train came in November and during the middle of the week. A much better schedule for us, in my opinion.

Not only will the train emit beautiful beams of Christmas lights, but it will also make stops along the way in North Dakota for a concert performance. This year's artists performing in North Dakota include singer-songwriters Shawnee Kish and Jamie Fine.

Since 1999, the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train has raised more than $21 million and 5 million pounds of food for North American food banks. All donations raised at a Holiday Train stop remain in that community.

All concerts are free, but the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train asks that you bring an item for the local food bank.

LOOK: Best Beers From Every State

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery. Keep reading to find out what the best beer is in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C.
