The NDSU Football Team Takes A Different Kind Of Ice Bath
The North Dakota State Football team just finished up a PERFECT Missouri Valley Conference football season.
The thundering herd is enjoying a perfect 12-0 football season so far in 2025 and even earned the number one seed in the FCS playoffs. The Bison are heavily favored to repeat as champions.
NDSU earned a bye in the first round of the FCS playoffs and won't play again until Saturday, December 6th. NDSU has won 10 of the last 14 FCS titles.
Yeah, life is pretty good for the green and gold right now. The locker room is no doubt pretty loose. In fact, when Fargo received its first snowfall of the season on Tuesday, November 25th, the Bison football team decided to rip off their shirts and jump into the freshly fallen snow.
Here's that video from NDSU Football's Facebook page.
It sure looks like they are having fun. A different kind of "ice bath," if you will. I'm guessing the green and gold were a little more purple after those plunges. Some of those players from warmer states like California, Texas, and Florida have likely not seen snow before.
Football, or any sport for that matter, sure is fun when you're winning.
When you're not, it's a different story. Just ask my Minnesota Vikings. Yikes, a lost cause for sure. Best of luck to North Dakota State in the FCS playoffs, and with the number one seed locked up, the Bison will be at home for all of the playoffs until the championship game. Horns up, Bison Nation, much of North Dakota is behind you.
