Taking a Look Back
Let's go back to when this all started. This story broke back in September of 2025, which was being billed as a case of "revenge porn". Kids at school today face many challenges compared to those of the past. Yes, there's still bullying, but now they have to face it not only in person but also online. Thanks to technological advances like AI, children are more susceptible than ever before to peer pressure, bullying, and online danger in North Dakota.
What is Revenge Porn
The definition from Wikipedia is pretty simple. "The distribution of sexually explicit images or videos of individuals without their consent, the intention to create public humiliation or character assassination out of revenge against the victim." A disgusting act, no matter what the age, but especially for children.
The North Dakota High School where this all started
According to an article from KVRR-TV, this all began at Fargo Davies High School in Fargo, North Dakota, after a visit from the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
