North Dakota’s Tigirlily Gold Just Received A Big Nod From CMT
Things are really starting to take off for North Dakota's Tigirlily Gold.
Their new single "I Tried a Ring On" was just released to country radio this past week. A song we've been playing on US103-3 for weeks. If you have been hiding under a rock and haven't heard it yet, here it is.
Yep, that song is a hit. I knew it the first time I heard it. I think so many people can relate to the honest lyrics of that song and what we do for love sometimes.
Now, CMT has bestowed a pretty big honor to our Hazen, North Dakota ladies Kendra & Krista.
What does this mean for North Dakota's Tigirlily Gold?
According to CMT, The Next Class of Women in Country Music for 2024 will be featured across CMT’s platforms, in addition to cross-platform opportunities with MTV, and will engage in advocacy efforts focusing on voter registration and mental health.
The full class for CMT's Next Class of Women in Country Music includes rising stars Anne Wilson, Denitia, Ella Langley, Emily Ann Roberts, HunterGirl, Karley Scott Collins, Kylie Frey, Lauren Watkins, Madeline Merlo, Mae Estes, Tanner Adell, The Castellows, Twinnie, and Tigirlily Gold.
There are some big-name alumni from this CMT yearly feature.
including, Ashley McBryde, Kacey Musgraves, Kelsea Ballerini, Lainey Wilson, and Maren Morris. Some pretty heavy hitters in that lineup. This truly is another big step for our favorite North Dakota ladies. Something tells me 2024 will be the year for Tigirlily Gold.
