If you are looking to find some romance this Christmas season, how about checking out "The Most Romantic City in All of North Dakota?"

If your household is like mine, and the TV is on the Hallmark Channel with its endless brigade of Christmas romance specials, you might just be in the mood this holiday season. If you are looking for the perfect city in North Dakota to spice up your love life, I may have found one for you.

I stumbled across an article recently on the website Honeymoons on the Most Romantic Town or City in each state in America.  I was expecting Medora to nab the honor. I've seen similar articles where Medora was named the most romantic town in the state. Not this time around.

Before we get to which state in the Peace Garden State has a "Cupid vibe" year-round, let's take a look at our neighboring states.

The Most Romantic City in Minnesota:

Minneapolis. I guess if you can get past the crime, there's certainly plenty of things to do. The article goes on to mention a vibrant art scene, beautiful lakes, and urban charm that will all entice lovers.

The Most Romantic City in South Dakota:

Sioux Falls. The article raves about the picturesque downtown scene that could spark romance with your mate as you walk along the Big Sioux River. Waterfalls, scenic walking paths, and historic landmarks all await you in downtown Sioux Falls.

The Most Romantic City in Montana:

Whitefish. Everything is bigger in Big Sky country, including romance. The article goes on to say that Whitefish, a captivating blend of rustic charm, outdoor adventures, and serene landscapes, is perfect for a romantic travel trip.

North Dakota's Most Romantic City is...FARGO!

Hmmm, I guess if you like it cold and flat. Sorry, I'm biased when it comes to comparing Bismarck and Fargo. The article goes on to say the city's Riverfront Park is a draw, along with scenic walking paths, gardens, and views of the river. Again, hmmm, the Red River doesn't even hold a candle compared to our Missouri River. Just sayin'. Fargo's brick-paved streets, boutique shopping, and cozy cafe experiences were also mentioned.

How did Honeymoons get their data for this list?

If you understand this, let me know, because I know I don't. Honeymoons says they considered an array of criteria, each thoughtfully crafted to encapsulate the essence of romance in its myriad forms. Again, translation? Merry Christmas, and I hope you find love this holiday season.
