Unveiling The EXACT Date Bismarck’s Mills Fleet Farm Will Open

Mills Fleet Farm's opening date has been revealed.

You have no doubt noticed the construction up in north Bismarck. Their new location will be off 64th Avenue on the west side of Highway 83.

As reported by yours truly back in July 2022 (we were the first to break that Mills Fleet Farm is coming to Bismarck), this new outdoor-themed farm and ranch retail store was considering setting up shop here.

The rumors had been going on for a while, and where there is smoke, there is usually fire. A credible source I know who was a part of city planning clued me in on the story.

Currently, there's only ONE Mills Fleet Farm located in North Dakota.

According to Wikipedia, this company is based in Appleton, Wisconsin, and Brainerd, Minnesota.  They sell a range of goods including hunting and fishing gear, firearms, clothes, children's toys, farming and ranching supplies, auto parts, and more.

This company was founded in 1955 by Stewart Mills Sr. and has stores in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, and North Dakota.

When I broke the story that Mills Fleet Farm was coming to Bismarck, I sure received a lot of favorable responses.

Now, we know the EXACT opening date for Mills Fleet Farm.

According to a text message I received from an executive with the company, Mills Fleet Farm is planning a soft opening on May 8th and a full opening on May 9th, 2025. That's barring any unforeseen construction delays.

In my opinion, just about any retail store that is all about the outdoors is going to do well in this city.  Just look how packed Scheels and Runnings are most days.  Add the farming and ranch aspect to the mix and I think you got a winner for the Bismarck Mandan communities.

All we need now is a Cabela's/Bass Pros Shop.  Who's with me?
