Join 8th Annual ’96 Hours of Caring’ to Support Bis-Man Community
With the holiday season fast approaching, now is the time for the community to come together and help those who are less fortunate. As hard as it is to hear, one in twelve North Dakotans will seek food assistance and hundreds go homeless every day.
For the 8th year, Townsquare Media is teaming up with Missouri Slope Areawide United Way for '96 Hours of Caring' to raise awareness and donations for 8 local charitable organizations. Right now, you can drop off any items or donations at any local American Family Insurance office or at the Townsquare Media studios located at 4303 Memorial Hwy on the Strip in Mandan.
Then, from November 4-7, we'll be broadcasting live from 4 different area businesses where we'll talk with local organizations and collect donations and non-perishable items to help others.
- Monday, 11/4 - J&R Vacuum & Sewing
- Tuesday, 11/5 - Dakota Community Bank & Trust
- Wednesday, 11/6 - CashWise Foods
- Thursday, 11/7 - Carpet World
The local organizations you will be helping out are:
- United Way
- Neighbors Network
- Welcome House
- Youthworks
- Ruth Meiers Hospitality House
- Charles Hall Youth Services
- Aid Inc.
- Salvation Army
100% of what is collected is paid forward, so please get involved in the 8th annual '96 Hours of Caring'!
