If you're a big fan of Tribute Bands well we got a treat for you!

Killer Queen the Ultimate Queen Tribute Band is coming to Bismarck-Mandan this October to the Belle Mehus Auditorium.  At first, I was skeptical about tribute bands in the past,  but after seeing Super Diamond (Neil Diamond Tribute ) and bands like Get the Led Out ( Led Zepplin), I really warmed up to the idea and now love going to these things.

The mindset has changed from seeing the real band to really enjoying the life and music of these legendary artists with a band that has the chops to tribute them. I was looking at some of the places these guys have played and was pretty surprised!

These guys are all over Europe and are playing places in the states like the legendary Red Rocks amphitheater in Colorado. If you'd like to see some background on the band here is their site: Killerqueenonline.com.

The show is a couple of weeks away so, for an 800 seat venue like the Belle Mehus Auditorium these seats can go fast.

I recently spoke with Patrick, the leader of the band and the one who plays Freddie. The interview is below. here are a couple of things I learned about the band as a whole.

  • Their first show that they played as a Queen Tribute band got them signed to a legit tour over Europe.
  •  They played Red Rocks in Colorado and it was an almost religious experience for them.
  • The music that they play has a much deeper meaning as they play it live which is a testament to Queen's legacy with their fans.
  • Patrick gave an in-depth description of the mindset behind forming this band and why it was important for him and his band members.

Looking forward to seeing these guys! Here's the link to purchase tickets:  https://www.etix.com/ticket/p/2035636/killer-queen-bismarck-belle-mehus-auditorium
