Social distancing doesn't mean ya can't get out and kill stuff, just try to stay six feet away from the game wardens.  I enjoy hunting and fishing and try my darndest to adhere to the rules of my handy dandy proclamation guide.  Still doesn't mean I don't panic when a game warden rolls up.  Why am I hiding my bologna sandwich?  What if I got the dates wrong on bologna season?  They're gonna seize my truck and my gun and my dog and my Miracle Whip!

Thankfully, most of the thousands and thousands of game warden "contacts" in 2020 didn't involve confiscating any sandwiches, there were 2,600 of them that probably did. Your odds of being nabbed for some offense are pretty good in Ramsey County, North Dakota.  With the Devils Lake recreation area it's easy to see why. Right around 1 out of every 8 violators got pinched in Ramsey County.  Out of a possible 53 counties, that's pretty high.

So let's summarize some of the real Game and Fish money-makers in 2020 as published in the February issue of North Dakota OUTDOORS, available at a newsstand near you.

Since Ramsey County leads the way, we find the bigger numbers around the bigger lakes...here's a short breakdown.of the primary culprits
