Minnesota Police Chase 10-Year-Old Who Took Parents’ Car to Get Cheerios
A 10-year-old Minnesota boy took his parents' car to get Cheerios!
There is a real life, little "Ricky Bobby" who lives in Minnesota. Last weekend, a young boy decided to make a late-night run to the grocery store for his breakfast. So, he took his parents' vehicle to the store. During his quest, the boy was picked up by the police.
The boy led police on a chase that reached a speed of 50 miles per hour!
According to KVRR, a 10-year-old boy from Stillwater, Minnesota led police on a hot pursuit last weekend. The report states that, around 9:30 PM on Sunday (April 4), the chase started. When police finally got to the boy, he informed them that he was headed to "Target or a downtown Stillwater co-op to buy Cheerios for breakfast." Get the full story about the chase from KVRR here.
I have to say that this is one brave little boy! When I was that age, I would have been too scared to be outside alone at that time of night - I was terrified of being outside in the dark. There is no way I would have the confidence to get my parents' keys, get in the car, and drive to the store.
On the other hand, my brother was afraid of nothing. And, though I do not think he ever snuck out and took a vehicle, I am sure he did a wild thing or two that he only hopes his own children never do.
What was the wildest thing you ever did as a child? Did your parents (or the police) catch you?
