This is a reminder North Dakota still has many days remaining where motorcycle enthusiast is still out riding the roads enjoying the weather before the winter sets in.

KFYR-TV is reporting the death of a motorcycle rider near Hazelton collided a head-on with a truck. The crash happened north of Hazelton Tuesday afternoon around 3 p.m. on Highway 83.

The dead man is a 61-year-old Bismarck man.

According to authorities, the motorcycle veered into oncoming traffic and hit a semi-truck.

Weather conditions were very windy, rain and visibility were limited.

 

 

 

 

The Highway Patrol says it was windy with very heavy rain at the time of the crash.
