North Dakota Is Ranked As One Of The Safest States For Kids and On-Line

How safe is the internet for our children? The dark web has to be one of the most scariest issues facing parents today. With online dating and social media, the web has become one of the scariest forms of technology for any child and parent.
Just how safe is the internet for today's youth in North Dakota?
Centurylink released the results of a study including data analysts from Internet Service Partners who researched youth statistics and cybercrime reports to determine which states are the safest or the most dangerous states for kids activities on line.
IPS has created a list of the ten safest—and ten most dangerous—states for kids online and there is good news for North Dakota and most of the Midwest.
The safest states are ranked as-
- South Dakota
- Vermont
- North Dakota
- Iowa
- Connecticut
- Rhode Island
- Minnesota
- Kansas
- Maine
- Massachusetts
The least safest states include-
- Arizona
- Colorado
- Virginia
- Texas
- Indiana
- Alabama
- Georgia
- Maryland
- Wisconsin
- Oregon
One theory for the safest states could be the states with lower property and violent crime also experience lower rates of online crimes like cyberbullying. In other words, a better quality of life and safest for families and children. The opposite could apply to the unsafe states for kids to be on line.
