The National Weather Service in Bismarck has issued a WIND ADVISORY for Tuesday from 6 am to 6 pm.

The area can expect strong winds today combined with some falling snow could cause a hazardous situation for travel throughout the region.

Winds can gust from 35-45 mph.

High profile vehicles should exercise caution while traveling in open spaces and individuals working on elevated spaces should also use caution.

Some unsecured items such as trash cans and lawn furniture could get blown and scattered.

Counties under the influence include Burleigh, Morton, McKinzie, Oliver, Dunn, Mercer and Williams.
