Credit! You have to have good credit to have a good life. Credit.com released a list of the best cities in the nation with the best credit scores and the Midwest scored high!

The top cities with the highest scores include-

1. Mankato, MN
2. Rochester, MN
3. Minneapolis, MN
4. Fargo, ND
5. Wausau, WI

The cites with the lowest scores are mainly in the South and include Shreveport, LA, Las Vegas, NV, Alexandria, LA, Jackson, MS and Monroe, LA.

The methodology used was-

  based on consumer data in the Experian-Oliver Wyman Market Intelligence Reports from the second quarter of this year. It provides an in-depth look at credit characteristics in more than 100 metropolitan statistical areas (MSAs), as determined by the Census Bureau.
