Companies Are Wanting To—Build Permanant Colonies On The Moon!!
I know we've all looked up in the sky and took a look at the moon. Some nights it's so huge and orange--and you feel you could almost reach out and touch it. And other nights it's so much smaller. Man has been to the moon--Neil Armstrong was the first to do it on July 20, 1969, and we haven't been back to the moon since 1972. But if you wanna go to the moon....have some interesting news here for all of us and within the next decade....
According to NASA, private companies could launch permanent moon colonies as soon as 2020.
Research conducted by Bigelow Aerospace showed that many companies like the idea of going to the moon and think it’s a big opportunity for them, especially since NASA seems to be totally focused on going to Mars.
One of Bigelow Aerospace’s big ideas is to own, lease, and operate inflatable space habitats in Earth’s orbit and on the moon.
