I figured I’d get ahead of the story because Jim Harbaugh does have a long and varied history with the game of football and I felt we wanted all the details!  Well, maybe reading this story will give you some insight into why the interview might have broken down between the two sides. I’m pretty sure it was Jim Harbaugh’s job to lose.  One day maybe we’ll learn more.

What a rollercoaster week since fans discovered Jim Harbaugh was genuinely interested in returning to the NFL!

As a coach, Jim Harbaugh has a great record of winning in the NFL!

The Vikings could have tried to farm the fresh crop of coaches.  Teams have certainly found success with young gun coaches in Cinncinati, Arizona, San Franciso, and Los Angeles.  But they went with a fiery veteran who’s still pretty young by Andy Reid and Bruce Arians standards.

The Vikings are coming off a solid albeit stagnant run under former coach Mike Zimmer and former General Manager Rick Spielman.  Kirk Cousins has been posting top ten quarterback numbers in his years as a Viking.  Lasting success has been surprisingly hard to come by…
