Bill Introduced that Could Eliminate Blue Laws in North Dakota
Could it be possible that some businesses wouldn't have to wait until noon on Sunday to open?
That question is the debate right now on a bill introduced by Democratic Representative Pamela Anderson. Both Democrats and Republicans are said to be supporting the bill. However, the issue has come up in previous legislative sessions and been turned down.
If passed, the bill could help businesses in North Dakota compete with others in surrounding states that don't have such blue laws. It could also make more available hours for the workforce at said businesses. Should the bill pass, business would not be required to be open before
