The trek to the State Championship continues for the Bismarck High boys hockey team, as they defeated Fargo South-Shanley 6-3 in the quarterfinals of the boys state hockey tournament.

The Demons were led by Tre Kautzman and Jared Spooner, who had three goals and four assists respectively. Ryan Gustafson, Dalton Sanders, and Bryce Eckman all added goals for the Demons.

BHS will take on West Fargo tonight at 6:30pm at Ralph Engelstad Arena.

The Bismarck Blizzard girls hockey team also advanced to the semifinals with a  7-0 win over Mandan.

Kennedy Hageness had a hat trick in the Blizzard's win. They will take on Grand Forks today at Noon.
