When I first saw this billboard situated across from our radio station on the Strip in Mandan (Memorial Highway) I was thinking, "Did they just make prostitution legal?"

Somebody cue the song by David Lee Roth "I'm just a Gigalow" and everywhere I go, people know the part I'm playing.  Everybody SING IT!  That felt good.

I know there's been a big push in recent years to legalize this "victimless crime" as some call it.  If nothing else, there's been legislation to decriminalize the oldest profession on earth (prostitution) in several states.

Or, maybe this is some sort of sexual study where they are looking for willing participants?  You know, kind of like when they pay people to do certain clinical studies.  Could this be something like that?

By the way, I really wish the term "hooking up" was around when I was in my dating prime.  It just sounds so much better than the alternative we used for it back in the day.  Way better.

No matter what side of the fence you stand on, as it turns out this billboard has nothing to do with prostitution, paying you to have sex or that kind of "hooking up".

Nope, it was for a 24-hour towing company in Bismarck Mandan.  That kind of "hooking up."  I guess my mind took a turn in the wrong direction on this one.

I have to hand it to the marketing team of this business.  Well played.  It caught my attention from somebody who rarely pays attention to billboard signs.
