Bismarck's Kirkwood Mall has been adding a plethora of new businesses in the last several months.  However, they are about to lose one of my favorite stores.

According to a source close to the situation, Pro Image Sports will close its doors sometime at the end of January.

The Pro Image Sports stores bills itself as the largest franchised sports apparel retailer in America.  They sell everything for the avid sports fan including officially licensed hats, jerseys, and accessories from the NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, MLS, and NCAA.

Definitely one of my personal favorite stores in Kirkwood Mall for sure.  If you love sports as I do, there's really no store like it in the mall.

This will certainly limit where you can shop in town for sports-related memorabilia.  According to my sources, the store decided not to renew its lease for 2023, and the owners will not be moving it to a new location in town.  Which is a shame in my book.

Hopefully, Pro Image Sports will go out with a bang and offer some great holiday deals before they close in late January.

According to their website, Pro Image Sports has over 100 stores located across the United States.  The first Pro Image Sports store was opened in 1985 in Salt Lake City, Utah.  The founders are Chad and Kevin Olsen and began selling franchises a year later.

I'm sure I will not be the only one, but I will really miss this store in Kirkwood Mall.
