The National Weather Service in Bismarck has announced that Bismarck is now in an "enhanced" sever weather potential for late tonight.  Severe Thunderstorms are expected to form in eastern Montana this afternoon.  These storms will move into western North Dakota late afternoon or evening.  Our best potential for severe weather in central North Dakota is late this evening or overnight.

80 MPH winds are possible with these storms, hail with 2.00 diameter, heavy rain that could cause flooding and even an isolated tornado is possible.  Expect watches to be issued late this afternoon or early evening.

These storms will develop along a cold front and move from west to east starting this afternoon.  In the meantime you can expect a beautiful day in Bismarck Mandan today with high's in the mid 80's.
