Do you ever feel like you are a creature of habit? You go to bed around the same time every night and the ONE simple craving for most of us when we wake-up - coffee! We must get that "first cup of mud" in our system until we can even consider moving on with our day. Well, great news for Bismarck - type this address into your GPS - 1320 Tacoma Ave, which will take you to Bismarck's newest coffee shop - 12 Stones Coffee.

KFYRTV reported last week that co-owner Dina Maas had an ambitious goal when she was in her 20's, to open up her own coffee house. She stored that in her memory bank, and years later when she married her husband Troy, they moved to Bismarck for his job, and there the perfect java heaven was discovered, as a matter of fact, she described it beautifully “For us, it’s the same thing. If we look back through the years, we can see God’s faithfulness bringing us to this point of this dream actually happening.”  Maas says the name comes from a passage in the Bible when God parted the waters for the Israelites to cross the Jordan River. God then told them to collect 12 stones to represent each of the tribes.

So never fear coffee lovers, we have another haven for us to enjoy! 12 Stones Coffee also has pastries from Brick Oven Bakery. Eventually, she hopes they can expand and add more to the menu. For more on this story click here.
