In Honor of Child’s Legacy, Carson Wentz is Coming Back to North Dakota
North Dakota's football sweetheart, is coming back to North Dakota in honor of a little boy's legacy.
Carson Wentz may be a professional sports legend in the making, but he does not forget his roots in North Dakota. Our home state hero is going to be a speaker at "Landon's Night" at the Lights in West Fargo next month. And you can be there to see him!
The event is in honor of a child who passed away from brain cancer in 2019.
"Landon's Night" at the Lights is coming up at the end of June. According to Valley News Live, "Landon's Night" at the Lights is an event for the whole family to attend! The report states that the fun includes live music, food trucks, a variety of children's activities, and Carson Wentz! It is pretty incredible that someone like Carson Wentz uses his celebrity for good. Someone with such a celebrity status could easily forget the people and the place they once knew. But the North Dakota A-listers have done a solid job at giving back to the people here. Another example, off the top of my head, is when Josh Duhamel was married to Fergie and the Black Eyed Peas played a benefit concert for Minot back in 2011!
