Is It Really a Graduation Open House in North Dakota Without These Foods? [POLL]
Graduation season is upon us which means one thing...OPEN HOUSE FOOD.
This is the greatest time of the year. If you don't know any 2017 graduates, I'm sorry.
Many high school graduates have an open house. It's basically a time for family and friends to stop by with a gift, wish the graduate well, and EAT.
These foods are my favorites and must haves at most graduation parties in North Dakota.

Honestly, what's not to love? Delicious little sausages kept in a crockpot all day. So good.

There are many different kinds, but there is ALWAYS pasta salad at open houses.

More than likely, there will be some sort of sandwich as the main course. Usually deli meat or sloppy joes on a party bun. Sometimes you get real lucky and they have pulled pork or chicken!

Let me just make this clear... Potato bar is the ABSOLUTE BEST thing you can have at your open house. Period.

If you didn't have a chocolate fountain at your open house, you didn't do it right. Complete with strawberries, potato chips, marshmallows, pretzels and mini cake pieces.

This is the one thing that rarely gets eaten at an open house. Especially if you have one of those chocolate fountains. But, did you really graduate if you don't have a cake with your name on it? Probably not.
