Heads Up, Williston ND: West Broadway Reconstruction Project Gets Underway

Travel around downtown Williston is about to get a little more hectic as the West Broadway Reconstruction Project moves into its next phase.

City officials are advising residents and visitors to prepare for construction activity in the project area between Main Street and 2nd Avenue West beginning Monday, June 29, 2026. Crow River Construction is scheduled to mobilize to the site that day, allowing work to officially get underway on the reconstruction project.

Drivers Should Expect Delays and Plan Ahead

While the start of construction does not necessarily mean full closures right away, motorists should expect to see crews, equipment, and traffic control devices in and around the roadway. Drivers traveling through the area may encounter minor delays, lane adjustments, or brief changes in traffic flow as workers begin setting up and preparing the site.
