New Cookie/Homemade Treat Business Opens In Bismarck

There is a new business in town that you might want to (sugar) rush to try. 

While scrolling through Facebook, I noticed a post, announcing a new cookie business/bakery. 

As a cookie fanatic, myself, I had to do a little investigating. 

A Little Something 

A Little Something is a new cookie bakery, operated by Bismarck native, Sierra Yantzer. 

I reached out to her for the scoop; she told me her husband, Nelson Abrego, actually inspired her to start this business journey because she loves to bake and they’re hoping to buy a house within this year. Yes, a lovely young couple is working hard to make their dreams come true. 

Yantzer tells me that she’s been baking ever since she can remember. She said this started as an idea about a month ago, and in the past week or two, she decided to take the initiative to get the business up and running. 

The Name 

I asked Yantzer about the naming of the business; she told me this was the hardest decision for her. 

"I went back-and-forth between a few, but ultimately landed on 'A Little Something,'" said Sierra Yantzer. 

Blank said it stood out from the rest every single time. 

She said this has been quite the journey for her because she also has a full-time retail job but she’s also excited.
