North Dakota's Tigirlily Gold was nominated for not one but two CMT awards last night on CBS.

Unfortunately, our ladies from Hazen, North Dakota did not walk away with a CMT Trophy/Belt Buckle, but by the looks of their photos, they sure had an amazing experience.

This was the first time that Tigirlily Gold had ever been nominated for a major award from a country music awards show.

What's ironic, as I was interviewing Tigirlily Gold in late 2023 on the radio on US103-3, (they are a frequent guest of mine) I had told them that 2024 was going to be their year. I also added they would not just be watching country music awards shows, but they would be a part of them. #nailedit!

Look how much fun Tigirlily Gold was having at the CMT Awards last night.

The two categories Tigirlily Gold were nominated for at the CMT's were:

"Best Group/Duo Video" (went to Dan + Shay), they had some pretty strong competition in this category, including Old Dominion, so that was a big hill to climb.

"Breakthrough Female Video" (went to Ashley Cooke), this was the one I thought Tigirlily Gold had a shot at.

As you may know Tigirlily Gold will be coming home to North Dakota to kick off the Mandan Rodeo.
