Jason Voorhees has been to a lot of places since being introduced in 1980 as a counselor at Camp Crystal Lake.  I kid, of course, he was a stalker and a killer. And not just at Camp Crystal Lake, Jason's been to New York, hung out with Freddy Krueger, went on a killing spree in space, hell this guy's even been to Hell.  Jason was even once killed by Corey Felman!  I learned that because I looked it up on Wikipedia.

I've never seen any of the Friday the 13th movies. Because, why would I?

I know plenty of people that watch them and love them. To that I say- You be you and I'll be me. Not because I'm scared of slasher films, maybe I'm scared of getting hooked on them.  Actually, I think getting hooked was big in "I Know What You Did Last Summer". Speaking of getting hooked, for all I know Camp Crystal Lake is just outside of Hurdsfield.

Crystal Lake is a lake located near Hurdsfield, ND. Fishermen will find a variety of fish including perch, white perch and smallmouth bass here. Whether you’re baitcasting or fly fishing your chances of getting a bite here are good. So grab your favorite fly fishing rod and reel, and head out to Crystal Lake.

Now if you wanted to go fishing for Jason Voorhees, head to the land of 10,000 lakes and bring some sturdy fishing line because Jason's currently a bottom feeder.

"Jason Voorhees" was deposited in a watery Minnesota grave back in 2013.

If you look close you can see the diver!

It seems diver Doug Klein built a lovely Jason statue and dumped it into the old Louise mine pit in Crosby, Minnesota.  Those mine pits run pretty deep.  Jason is 120 feet underwater and chained to the bottom. Tough Luck.

But he still has his machete if you want to suit up and check on him.

You can see here that as of 2020, Jason is still far below the surface waiting for unsuspecting campers.  Diver/YouTube content creator and a diving buddy of statue creator Doug Klein, Curtis Lahr shares this kinda frightening underwater video update from August 2, 2020.

THIS IS SO SWEET AND ALSO TERRIFYING!

Share the story and Happy Halloween!
