JJ’s 1972 Volvo 1800ES Begins Its Journey To Retirement In California

This week I did a little personal downsizing in my life and sold my vintage 1972 Volvo 1800es. On Wednesday afternoon it was like saying goodbye to an old friend or a family member. I had always wanted a Volvo 1800es, and found this car back in 1999. It's been cared for and loved for around 15 years!

This is a pic of my "baby," and then the video of it on the transport truck beginning it's journey to California and it will be placed in a car museum in Thousand Oaks, California. So I know it will be in good hands and I will be able to visit and see my Volvo whenever I like!
