Volunteers will arrive in Strasburg, North Dakota on August 1st to help repair and restore Lawrence Welk’s boyhood home.  It’s a 3-day event where volunteers will be treated to German food and entertainment between work sessions.  Over 200 people have already signed up to help.

Going to be great weather this weekend---so that means it's time to get out and enjoy!!!  Lots of COOL stuff going on!!    From apes on the big screen to Lion & Mouse stories on stage, and Animals at the Dakota Zoo!!

Hope each and everyone had a great 4th of July holiday, and for those of you who are really super patriotic.  I found some cool stuff you can actually bid on on eBay and that way next year you'll be the most patriotic person on your block!!

You may want to call me boring and structured but when it comes to a good ol' Hot Dog----just a little squeeze of mustard is all I need----NO relish, onions, well--maybe a little bit of chili---IF it's really good, dark, thick and rich.   I did run across a cool article in Men's Health Magazine and they had some pretty good hot dog toppings to try out...
