Funding has been requested for each county in North Dakota to have electronic voting.

On Monday, Secretary of State Al Jaeger has requested funds from the House Appropriations Committee for electronic voting for each county in the state. This would keep voting as a uniform process throughout North Dakota.

The funding requested by Jaeger is $3 million.

Currently, only 8 of 53 counties in the state vote electronically.
