What is the absolute worst thing that could happen to ruin a wedding?

I have never planned a wedding, but I can only imagine how stressful it is to get ready for such an extravagant event. Your wedding is something you and your loved ones will remember for a lifetime. You would hope those memories would be (mostly) beautiful. But there are always those nuptial horror stories. And a big one just happened right here in North Dakota.

A Bismarck-based photography company has gone out of business and customers are out thousands of dollars.

According to KFYR-TV, Bismarck-based photography company, Glasser Images has closed up shop and left brides and grooms-to-be in North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, and Colorado without so much as their deposits back. One person even told KFYR-TV that they are now out $5,000 for their deposit. And, only hours after the permanent closure was announced, there is a public outcry.

People are already working to go after the company and photographers are offering help to those who lost out.

A couple of things happened pretty quickly after Glasser Images abruptly closed:

This is not the first time an event like this happened at a Bismarck business.

Does the story of Glasser Images sound familiar? Something similar happened back in 2017 when Spa D'Athena in Bismarck closed after selling gift cards to customers. The former owners were reportedly ordered to pay "$275,195 in restitution to customers and $28,660 in civil penalties."
