Proposed ND Bill – Life In Prison If You Have An Abortion.

According to Inforum.com, there are some North Dakota lawmakers that have put their heads together and have come out with a monstrous controversial bill that would make an abortion a Class AA felony - if found guilty you could face prison for life, without parole. Here is a part of what House Bill 1313 looks like -  Murder of an unborn child. 1. a. A person is guilty of murder of an unborn child, a class AA felony, if the person: a. (1) Intentionally or knowingly causes the death of an unborn child; b. (2) Causes the death of an unborn child under circumstances manifesting extreme indifference to the value of the life of the unborn child or the pregnant woman; or c. (3) Acting either alone or with one or more other persons commits or attempts to commit treason, robbery, burglary, kidnapping, felonious restraint, arson, gross sexual imposition, or escape and, in the course of and in furtherance of such the crime or of immediate flight therefrom the crime, the person, or another participant, if any, causes the death of an unborn child; except that in any prosecution under this subsection in which the defendant was not the only participant in the underlying crime, it is an affirmative defense that the defendant:

 Rep. Jeff Hoverson is one of the driving forces behind this, saying that it's "unquestionable that abortion should be a crime" - he bases this on his *Morality, not just his faith. Of course, if this does pass it will conflict with the U.S. Supreme Court's 1973 Roe v. Wade decision, which protects a woman's right to have an abortion. 

*Morality - a particular system of values and principles of conduct, especially one held by a specified person or society.  Does he have the right to put women away for life?
