SEVERE WEATHER- TORNADO WATCH FOR BISMARCK-MANDAN AREA

The NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE in Bismarck has issued a TORNADO WATCH for Burleigh, Grant, Morton, Oliver, Kidder and Sioux counties until 9 PM CST and 8 PM MT.

The watch area includes the cities of Bismarck, Mandan, Elgin, Fort Yates, Linton, Mott, Dickinson and Center - North Dakota.

Severe weather is predicted as unstable air continues to settle over the region with a good chance of thunderstorms, possibly sever at times with strong winds, dangerous lightning and heavy rain, with possible hail. This system is anticipated to move out of the area late tonight and early Thursday morning.
