St Paddys Day 80’s Weekend

Here's a soundtrack to your bar crawl!

All weekend long on Cool we're spotlighting the biggest hits of the 80s  from groups like Def Leppard, Flock of Seagulls, the Tubes, Toto and more.  Major artists include  Prince, Madonna, Michael, Cyndi Lauper to name a few.

The funny thing about this decade was that when we were living it we felt that it was so plastic and disposable that it would never be cool again.

Guess what we were wrong.

With the disposable nature of music today, looking back on the legendary producers and artists of that era really gives you an idea on how far we come musically. For some though, it can remind you of the time your team won the championship or that prom night you never forgot ( or got to live down).
