
State Police Chase Motorcycle at Speeds that Reach 140 mph
A Minto man is facing several charges after North Dakota State Police clocked him at 119 mph in a 65 speed zone early Saturday morning. (4/23) Andrew Flaten, 26 is looking at several charges including DUI, reckless driving, fleeing police and a violation restrictions of a motorcycle permit.

Saturday morning just before 2, a state trooper clocked the motorcycle at 119 in a 65 mph zone on Highway 81 outside on Minto. Flatten then led police on a chase that covered 3 counties with speeds that reached 140 mph into Walsh County. Grand Forks (ND) Police join the chase into Traill County when Flaten lost control of his motorcycle on a dirt road. Flaten was taken to a hospital and released and is facing numerous charges.
