Study: North Dakota WORST in US for Road Safety
We hear a lot about the things North Dakota is supposedly best at, but let's be fair; the Peace Garden State shows up at the lower end of some lists...
Like weather.
And road safety...?
That's right: a group called "Advocates for Highway and Auto Safety," ranks North Dakota at the bottom of their ranking of states based on enactment of certain road safety laws.
According to a recent report by a Fargo TV station, the advocacy group wants to see enactment and/or stricter enforcement of laws regulating seat belt use, booster seats for small children and helmets for motorcycle riders.
The group also advocates certain restrictions for drivers under 18.
