It's been a struggle to adjust to social distancing. It can be lonely, slow, and insanely boring. But boredom clearly sparks creativity. People and businesses in Bismarck-Mandan are stepping up (in crafty ways) to send messages of faith, hope, love, and community togetherness during the Coronavirus crisis.

Bismarck Public Schools (BPS) and Bismarck Applebee's have teamed up to "takeout" the devastation on BPS families caused by COVID-19. The "takeout" event is going on for three days next week - two nights at North Applebee's and one night at the South location.

WHERE: Applebee's (NORTH)         Applebee's (SOUTH)
3200 N. 14th St.                     434 S. 3rd St.
Bismarck, ND 58501              Bismarck, ND 58504

WHEN: April 13, 2020 (SOUTH LOCATION)
             April 14 & 16, 2020 (NORTH LOCATION)

WHY: Help struggling BPS families by purchasing your meals from Applebee's on April 13, 14, and 16.

Next Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, don't forget to order at least one meal from Applebee's. You can support one of your favorite local restaurants as well as help families in need. On these days, Applebee's has committed to donate 20% of meal prices back to the Bismarck Public School Foundation for the COVID-19 BPS Family Assistance Fund.

If you can't make it to the event, you can still donate to BPS families in need. You can make a donation at bpsfoundation.com/donate and click "COVID-19 BPS Family Assistance." You can also donate a check, mailing it to:

Bismarck Public Schools Foundation
806 N. Washington St.
Bismarck, ND 58501
(in the check memo line, state "COVID-19")
